Wasn’t the idea with mobile phones that they’d keep getting smaller? The iPhone seems to be going to other way. Not really a surprising move by Apple considering the size of a Mac Pro. Have you seen the insides of those things? They’re just air and packaging.
Considering the iPhone’s lack of computational power I wouldn’t be surprised if the iPhone is just a battery, a tiny circuit board and a whole heap of newpaper in a big package.
Give me a phone I can put in my pocket without having to take everything else out. Everytime I go to a meeting there’s only two types of phones on the table: Crackberries and iPhones. Not because they’re the only phones people own but because they’re the only phones that are too big to comfortably stay in people’s pockets.
