They can’t multi-task

This is why I start stuttering when I try and say iPhone and Smart Phone in the same sentence. Someone once told me that “the iPhone is a shit phone but a great mobile computing device”.  How can you call anything a computing device these days if it doesn’t multi-task.

I couldn’t live without multi-tasking. I don’t want to have to restart my browser everytime a call comes in or I want to check my email. Could you imagine if your desktop couldn’t multi-task? It would be useless. So why bother with an iPhone?

    This is one of the major reasons I gave up on the iphone. I need this feature. It’s a deal breaker. Even with the 3.0 push notifications. They’re just a nasty work around for a lack of multi tasking.
